Job Description

We’re building the engineering culture we wish we had earlier in our careers - strong ownership, strong fundamentals, and strong engineering craft. We write code, we automate everything, we design for reliability, and we deeply understand the systems we run.

If you are an SRE who feels more like a software engineer that specializes in reliability rather than a “DevOps pipeline maintainer,” keep reading.

You’ll support the systems behind some of the most demanding workloads at InPost. On a typical week you might:

  • Write a small app/plugin/service to automate, i.e. infrastructure checks or support Observability
  • Build or extend Terraform modules and contribute to Platform Engineering around Observability
  • Use APM tools like Dynatrace to find performance hotspots (and issues) nobody sees yet
  • Investigate a tricky production issue by combining logs, metrics and traces into a clear story
  • Optimize a distributed system that is under a heavy load
  • Lead improvements after incidents - root cause, patterns, architectural recommendations
  • Collaborate with developers to shape feature design so that reliability is built in, not added later

You will have real influence. We take suggestions seriously. If something should be redesigned, we redesign it.

Qualifications

You’re a great fit if you…

  • Treat production systems like living organisms you can measure, understand, and improve
  • Are fluent in at least one OOP language (Java, C#, Python) and enjoy writing clean code
  • Know Terraform well and think GitOps is the right way to operate infrastructure
  • Have strong experience with observability tools - not just dashboards, but real APM-level depth
  • Understand how distributed systems behave under real-world load
  • Don’t panic during incidents - you stay calm, collect evidence, and guide others
  • Are curious, collaborative, and enjoy sharing knowledge
  • Want to work with other people who care deeply about engineering craft
  • You speak English fluently.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools and large language models (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance productivity, accelerate development, and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs and apply them responsibly within professional workflows.

You’ll stand out if you also have…

  • Keycloak / identity platform experience (OIDC, OAuth2)
  • Experience building log centralization platforms or running ElasticSearch / Vector / Loki or BigQuery at scale
  • A solid understanding of performance engineering (profiling, latency analysis, tuning services)
  • Experience with high‑scale messaging, caching and cloud-native patterns

We are looking for engineers who want to build things, debug things and make systems better.

Additional Information

  • Remote work opportunity across Poland.
  • Access to e-learning platforms- eTutorGoodHabitz, Data Camp, and more.
  • A wide range of benefits, including the MultiSport+ card, private healthcare, and group insurance, is available on the Worksmile platform.
  • External and internal growth opportunities - conferencestrainingsworkshops
  • Chances to broaden your skill set and acquire new competencies through daily work, challenging projects, and training activities.
