Essential Responsibilities:
As the Site Lead you will test, troubleshoot, assemble, and modify optical splicing equipment;
· Carry out and document all preventative maintenance on optical tooling;
· Assemble various wiring and cable assemblies per drawings;
· Set-up and run various tests including, but not limited to environmental and calibration tests;
· Run test software and program software;
· Operate/use optical power meters;
· Maintain clean and well-organized work area at all times;
· Notify supervisor and documents quality issues;
· Notify supervisor of Bill of Material discrepancies;
· Comply with all safety and quality guidelines.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Lithuanian Electrical qualification to the level of energy worker's certificate and the right to lead the operation of electrical equipment.
- High degree of quality awareness; excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems.
- Able to work at heights and high level of physical fitness.
- Structured worker with technical analytical abilities.
- Lithuanian language and communicative level of English
- Prepared to travel
- Willing to work sometimes also at the weekends.
- Class B driving license (license for driving trucks up to 3,5 t with trailer).
- Initiative – Must be willing to learn and take on new challenges;
- Must have the ability to follow instructions and ask questions when necessary;
- Flexibility – Must be willing to work overtime/shift work as required;
- Ability to read and follow schematics and understand simple circuits;
- Experience in soldering surface mount and plated through-hole components. (Solder certification preferred);
- Ability to operate various test equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, and lock-in amplifiers.);
- Proficiency in use of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook etc);
- Ability to read and follow instructions in written and oral English;
