The Opportunity

We are looking for a Program Manager who will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and structured transition of Simpplr’s customers from the Salesforce (force.com) platform to our newly developed AWS-based platform. This role demands strategic foresight, meticulous planning, effective collaboration, decisive action, and excellent stakeholder management, all aimed at delivering a frictionless migration experience and fostering long-term customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Your Job ResponsibilitiesWhat you will be doing:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
    • Develop and execute phased migration strategies based on renewal schedules, feature parity, customer profiles, and churn risk.
    • Create comprehensive migration plans outlining objectives, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
    • Perform risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
  • Program & Project Management:
    • Lead end-to-end execution of migration workstreams, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, and quality standards.
    • Manage, allocate, and oversee project resources, including internal teams and external vendors.
    • Track program budget, resource forecasting, and provide regular status updates and executive reporting.
  • Customer Selection & Sequencing:
    • Utilize data insights to strategically sequence customer migrations.
    • Continuously reassess and refine migration cohorts to reflect evolving business needs.
  • Change Management & Communication:
    • Develop and implement change management strategies, including stakeholder mapping and targeted communications.
    • Act as a central communication hub, providing clear and regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.=
  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Collaborate with Product Managers to prioritize feature enhancements based on customer feedback and migration needs.
    • Partner with CSMs to support proactive customer engagement throughout migration phases.
    • Coordinate with Engineering teams to ensure timely feature delivery and rapid response to customer support needs.
  • Vendor & Partner Management:
    • Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring performance meets project requirements.
    • Manage contractual negotiations and escalations efficiently.
  • Operational Process & Governance:
    • Implement and continuously refine operational infrastructure and governance frameworks.
    • Drive process improvements collaboratively across functional teams.
  • Legal & Compliance:
    • Manage migration-related legal and compliance processes, including customer communications and MSA updates.
  • People Management & Hiring:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage migration team members, ensuring clarity of roles, accountability, and professional growth.
    • Collaborate with HR and vendors for timely hiring and resource planning.
  • Continuous Improvement & Feedback:
    • Establish feedback loops for continuous improvement of migration processes and customer experience.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Leverage Salesforce and AWS data insights to optimize customer migration sequencing and execution.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Results-driven mindset with a keen focus on customer experience and operational excellence.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and preparing executive-level communications.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and proven adaptability in a dynamic environment.

We’d specially love to hear from you if:

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and AWS platforms.
  • Familiarity with SaaS industry practices, particularly customer migration and change management.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in leveraging data for strategic decision-making.
  • Prior experience in vendor management and budget tracking.
  • Background or knowledge in compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements related to migrations.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $153k - $180k. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.

Pay Range

$153,000$180,000 USD

At Simpplr we believe that when work is good, life is better and that belief guides all we do. Including how we approach our flexible work model. Simpplr operates with a Hub-Hybrid-Remote model. This model is role-based with exceptions and provides employees with the flexibility that many have told us they want.

  • Hub - 100% work from Simpplr office. Role requires Simpplifier to be in the office full-time.
  • Hybrid - Hybrid work from home and office. Role dictates the ability to work from home, plus benefit from in-person collaboration on a regular basis. 
  • Remote - 100% remote. Role can be done anywhere within your country of hire, as long as the requirements of the role are met.
