Mayvin is seeking a Signal Systems Engineer to provide technical expertise in the design, integration, operation, maintenance, and sustainment of communication and information systems supporting United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) missions. This role requires advanced knowledge of network infrastructure, server administration, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT practices to ensure reliable, secure, and mission-ready communications capabilities. Based at Ft. Bragg, the engineer will support the deployment, troubleshooting, optimization, and lifecycle management of critical voice, data, video, and satellite communications systems while providing technical guidance to operational personnel.


Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must have an active Secret clearance.  


Responsibilities:

  • Configure, integrate, maintain, and troubleshoot satellite communications systems, networks, and voice, data, and video infrastructure to ensure mission readiness and operational support
  • Implement and manage cybersecurity controls, including encryption, access management, secure storage, VPN solutions, and compliance with applicable security policies and standards
  • Administer SharePoint and collaboration environments while ensuring availability, security, effective information management, and user support
  • Develop technical documentation, SOPs, system guidance, and provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to users and support personnel
  • Conduct system analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance improvements while identifying risks, mitigating cyber threats, and recommending technical enhancements
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field; equivalent relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of 16 years of experience in IT training or a related field, with specific experience supporting military operations
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or similar
