The Role

NewRocket is a global team made up of ServiceNow professionals who help our customers run and grow their ServiceNow environments.  We are hiring a ServiceNow Senior Software Engineer with CSM and Custom Application experience. The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring a team of Software Engineers who provide the development of project professional services for customers. The Senior Software Engineer will implement and develop customizations based on functional and technical requirements using leading practices and internal code standards on large-scale more complex professional services projects. 

We will provide support and guidance to get you up to speed on some of the most amazing projects!  We provide official ServiceNow training so you can achieve multiple certifications. We will set expectations for what success looks like. Then we will allow you use your skills and experience to come up with innovative solutions to achieve customer goals.

• • Develop and configure ServiceNow CSM solutions based on business requirements.
  • Design and build custom applications, workflows, UI components, and Service Portals.
  • Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs and web services.
  • Customize and extend ServiceNow platform capabilities using scripting and automation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while ensuring platform performance and scalability.
  • Follow ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.

  Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CSM implementations and customization.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform development, including Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Experience developing and supporting custom applications on ServiceNow.
  • Expertise in REST/SOAP integrations and third-party system connectivity.
  • Knowledge of Service Portal and user experience customization.
  • Strong JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting capabilities.
  • Experience working in Agile project environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  Certifications

  • Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Required
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD) - Required
