ServiceNow Automation & Integration Test Engineer

What success looks like in this role:

US Citizenship Required

Scrum POD:

• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) following agile processes in the Scrum POD team, either manually or using the Automated Test Framework (ATF) where applicable.
• Continuously interact with the Technical Account Manager (TAM), Business Analysts (BAs), and Development team to complete testable stories within the scheduled timeline.
• Raise defects and track them to closure.

UAT Coordination:

• Coordinate with the UAT team to ensure SIT-tested items (User Stories) are demonstrated and then passed to the UAT team for validation.
• Provide clear test instructions for SIT-passed items.
• Ensure enhancement demos during alignment calls with stakeholder participation.
• Raise and track defects, scrum tasks, and approvals, updating status in reports.
• Obtain final approvals and sign-offs from clients and internal approvers on SIT before release.
• Issue weekly testing status reports with defect details and progress updates.

Automation using ATF:

• Implement automation for ServiceNow ITSM modules using the Automated Test Framework (ATF) on the ServiceNow instance for core ITSM modules and Service Catalogs.
• Implement in-sprint automation for changes or enhancements to any ITSM modules, changes to existing Service Catalogs, or new Service Catalogs using ATF.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.

6-8 years of relevant experience in a QA Engineer/Test Engineer role.

Government clearance/background check required.
