A day in the life:
The Organic Search Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategy execution and client relationship of the department’s client partners. Acting as a liaison between the client and the account team, the Organic Search Account Manager is responsible for account performance, client retention, and team alignment. The Organic Search Account Manager's duties include, but are not limited to, building and maintaining client rapport, day-to day client communication, overseeing deliverables for strategy/goal alignment, refining internal workflows and timelines, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day communication with the client, organizing and facilitating client meetings
- Monitor pacing towards client goals and overall business performance, clearly communicating all initiatives, strategies, and opportunities to the client as needed
- Assist Account Directors in contract renewals, service expansion and channel pivots
- Ownership of call preparation and follow-ups, including agenda creation, sending follow-ups, and task assignment in Asana
- Responsible for campaign goal setting and quarterly/yearly strategy roadmaps
- Manage day-to-day project workflow for the account to ensure on-time execution of deliverables as outlined in the contract
- Streamline the account team's workflow using tools like Asana, Google Drive, and Slack
- Foster internal collaboration to align strategies with the client's broader business goals
- Review deliverables to ensure workflow is high-quality & aligned with the client KPIs
- Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
- Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
Role Requirements:
- +2 years of Account Management experience, ideally in a digital or media agency
- Internal Team Management: Proven history of managing internal teams with ongoing monthly workflows
- Client Retention: Clear and effective communication as it relates to Organic Search strategy and key performance metrics
- Industry Expertise: Proficient understanding of Organic Search best practices across all disciplines including on-page SEO, off-page SEO and content
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in using data analytics and key performance indicators to inform strategic decisions, optimize campaign performance, and deliver actionable insights to clients
