Job Description: Sr Wholesale Account Director 

Position Title: Sr Wholesale Account Director 
Location: Georgia, USA
Reports To: Chief Sales Officer 

Employment Type: Full-Time 

 

Job Description 

Accelecom is currently seeking a full-time exempt Sr Wholesale Account Director responsible for selling into GA-centric Carriers, Cable MSO’s, Municipal Broadband Providers, ISP’s, Resellers & Data Center Operators. We are looking for individuals who share our passion for success through a consultative selling approach, a focus on superior customer service and helping the Wholesale industry solve business problems. As a Sales Professional, this position will be responsible for identifying and developing new business while managing existing accounts. The successful candidate will be expected to deeply understand our customers' business, be able to craft unique solutions, and secure orders. 

The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing & executing sales strategies across a large module of accounts.  

Key Responsibilities: 

 Strategic Account Planning Experience: 

·         Formulation & execution of robust Vertical GTM & Account Plans 

·         Development & execution of Account-centric Contact Plans 

·         Identification & execution of upsell & cross-sell strategies 

 

Product Knowledge & Experience: 

·         Transport solutions (Dark Fiber, Wavelengths & Ethernet) 

·         IP solutions (IP Transit, DIA & DDoS) 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

·         Mindset: Hunter mindset / role (vs. Business Development or Account Mgt) 

·         Industry Experience (Telecom or Data Center): Minimum of 5-years 

·         Sales experience: Minimum of 5-years 

·         Strong analytical & technical skills 

·         Strong interpersonal & communications skills 

·         Strong relationship development skills 

·         Ability to thrive in “start-up” environment / operate in the “grey” 

·         Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables & meet deadlines 

·         Track-record of meeting & exceeding annual sales quota 

·         Strong problem-solving capabilities 

·         Strong financial acumen 

·         Strong collaboration internal (engineering, product, and marketing)   

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

·         Minimum of 3 years selling into GA-centric Carriers 

·         Minimum of 3 years selling into GA-centric Cable MSO’s 

·         Minimum of 3 years selling into GA-centric Municipal Broadband Providers 

·         Minimum of 3 years selling into GA-centric ISP’s 

·         Minimum of 3 years selling into GA-centric Resellers 

·         Minimum of 3 years selling into GA-centric Data Center Operators 

·         Experience selling into Hyperscalers. AI Hyperscalers

·         Knowledge of BANT, TAS and/or the Challenger Sales methodologies 

·         Prior experience w/ Salesforce & the Microsoft Suite 

·         Experience with Sales Force and Zoom Info

 

Work Environment: 

·         Remote work environment  

·         Occasional office visits for training and team meetings

·         Will require occasional travel (in support of Client meetings) 

 

Location: Atlanta GA preferred but locations throughout GA considered.
