Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Wealth Management Banking Coordinator (SAFE) in Banking, Lending and Trust. The Senior Wealth Management Banking Coordinator will provide advanced, specialized support to the Legal Specialty Group (LSG) within Wealth & Investment Management (WIM). This role supports Private Bank relationship teams who serve attorneys, law firms, and their principals with sophisticated lending, banking, and wealth management needs.
This individual will partner closely with Wealth Advisors, Private Bankers, Fiduciary professionals, and Credit teams to ensure exceptional client service, operational accuracy, and timely execution of complex banking and wealth solutions. In this role, you will:
- Support more experienced level Private Bankers with account administration, sales activities, risk management, and relationship management, supporting multiple people and balancing multiple priorities
- Assist in providing service to Private Banking client relationships
- Interact with clients to help identify client retention issues as well as potential new business opportunities across product lines
- Develop solid product knowledge and basic client relationship management skills to meet the financial needs of customers and may have accountability over basic accounts
- Prepare preliminary client correspondence and customized professional client presentation materials to support sales and marketing efforts
- Research and resolve operational issues related to complex accounts
- Work with centers, offices, and stores to execute daily transactions for bankers in sales and credit support
- Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Potentially provide work direction and training to less experienced associates
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- This SAFE position has customer contact and job duties which may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in a SAFE position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below
- 4+ years of Wealth Management Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in Wealth Management/Private Banking
- In-depth understanding of private banking deposit services, specialized lending solutions, securities-based lending, and custom credit structures.
- Experience supporting specialty or professional-services client segments (e.g., attorneys, partners, law firms, medical professionals, business owners).
- Strong working knowledge of trust, investment, fiduciary, and estate-related processes, including documentation and account administration.
- Advanced ability to interpret and coordinate complex financial documentation, KYC/AML requirements, legal agreements, and entity structures (trusts, partnerships, foundations, LLCs).
- Demonstrated capability to support high-volume, high-complexity relationship teams with accuracy, urgency, and a client-first approach.
- Prior experience collaborating with credit officers, underwriting teams, or loan operations teams on complex credit requests.
- Proficiency with Wealth & Investment Management platforms, CRM systems, workflow tools, and document-processing systems.
- Strong relationship-management, communication, and follow-through skills with the ability to interact professionally with sophisticated clients and internal partners.
- Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- High attention to detail with a commitment to operational risk management and regulatory compliance.

- This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment. Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediately after your employment start date.
