As a Senior Visual Designer at Billtrust, you will craft compelling, on-brand digital experiences that elevate our marketing efforts and bring the Billtrust brand to life. You’ll play a key role in shaping creative execution across the full marketing ecosystem - partnering closely with teams in web, revenue marketing, product marketing, communications, and social media

You are a strategic, detail-oriented creative with a strong sense of user-centric design. You combine business acumen and a goal-driven mindset with a deep understanding of digital trends and technologies. You have a strong command of UX principles and visual storytelling across a range of devices, platforms, and formats.

You are highly proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere), and other relevant design tools. Your toolkit enables you to efficiently design, iterate, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are energized by solving complex design challenges that align with global business needs. You’re comfortable managing multiple projects, balancing creative innovation with consistency, and delivering high-impact work that drives results.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and maintain digital design systems, templates, grid structures, and layout principles that align with the Billtrust brand language across all digital platforms.
  • Deliver engaging and user-friendly digital experiences, including websites, landing pages, emails, videos, and online campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand execution across all digital touchpoints.
  • Maintain and evolve Billtrust’s digital presence, ensuring it delivers on our design and brand attributes and remains fresh, modern, and relevant across all platforms.
  • Translate business goals into compelling visual design solutions that are optimized for performance, accessibility, innovation, and SEO.
  • Continually innovate and introduce fresh approaches to enhance user experience and visual impact of Billtrust’s digital assets.
  • Execute other assigned responsibilities as they arise.

 What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of visual design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in designing for web, email, social media, and other digital platforms.
  • Expertise in visual design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, grid systems, and layout principles.
  • Proven experience in designing and maintaining scalable design systems that work across multiple digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools plus the willingness and ability to adopt new tools as required.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to apply them effectively in web and mobile design.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present and discuss your design rationale with stakeholders and team members in person or remotely.
  • Ability to work quickly through multiple iterations, while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring design solutions align with business goals and functional requirements.
  • Experience working in collaborative environments, with remote teams, and adapting to new
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics & Tag Manager.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts (coding is not required, but an understanding of what is feasible and effective is helpful).

The expected base salary range for this position is $87,000-$127,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Further details will be provided by our Talent Acquisition team during the interview process.
