The Senior Vice President, Market Leader is a senior executive role accountable for the success of Lyric’s most strategic health plan partnerships. This individual will serve as the primary executive sponsor and enterprise relationship leader, governing the performance and coordination of Lyric’s full suite of solutions, including pre-payment, post-payment, secondary editing, clinical and coding content, analytics, and our AI-first platform capabilities.

This role blends deep client engagement, commercial and operational oversight, and cross-functional leadership. The VP will manage key elements of Lyric’s go-to-market team, contribute to enterprise product strategy, lead client co-development initiatives, and drive strategic growth opportunities, including expansion within existing accounts and new logo acquisition.

This is a critical leadership role for Lyric, both strategic and operational, that drives value creation, fosters innovation, and ensures we are deeply aligned with the executive priorities of our clients, many of whom are among the largest and most complex health plans in the country.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES

🔹 Client Governance & Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as the senior-most executive governing Lyric’s most important client relationships, ensuring measurable value realization, strategic alignment, and trusted partnership at the enterprise level
  • Navigate and engage at the C-suite level within payer organizations, managing discussions that go beyond Lyric’s current solution set, addressing broader cost-of-care initiatives, claims operations modernization, and enterprise transformation
  • Lead enterprise-level planning, QBRs, strategic engagements, and governance forums
  • Mentor and develop a team of Client Executives responsible for account success and go-to-market execution

🔹 Solution Strategy, Expansion & Growth

  • Own the cross-functional performance of Lyric’s full solution portfolio across assigned clients, including adoption, outcomes, client satisfaction, and financial performance
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue, increase share-of-wallet, and drive cross-solution engagement
  • Monitor competitive activity and design account-specific strategies to retain market position and accelerate value delivery

🔹 Product Influence & Co-Development

  • Lead the identification and execution of client co-development initiatives that shape Lyric’s future capabilities and strategic differentiators
  • Act as a senior voice of the market within Lyric’s product organization, translating client needs into roadmap insights, pilot priorities, and innovation opportunities
  • Partner with product leaders to validate early concepts, support pilot implementations, and structure feedback loops for ongoing refinement

🔹 Sales Leadership & New Business Development

  • Collaborate with the CGO and revenue leadership to develop and execute Lyric’s short- and long-term growth strategy
  • Actively contribute to new logo pursuits, bringing deep product fluency, market insight, and executive-level relationship management to the pursuit process
  • Shape tailored pursuit strategies and participate directly in finalist presentations, RFP responses, and enterprise value articulation
  • Ensure strategic alignment in pricing, value proposition delivery, and positioning across solution lines and client segments

🔹 Organizational Strategy & Collaboration

  • Collaborate across Lyric’s executive team, including product, operations, delivery, analytics, marketing, and finance, to ensure unified go-to-market alignment and execution
  • Provide insight and feedback on market trends, payer strategies, and enterprise opportunities that inform Lyric’s overall business strategy and M&A agenda
  • Champion coordinated, cross-functional ownership of strategic client relationships

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Health Administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years in the healthcare industry, with demonstrated success in sales, strategic account management, or growth leadership roles
  • Minimum of 15 years in senior leadership, including direct responsibility for client-facing teams and complex payer relationships

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Health Administration or a related field
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. health plan operations, including organizational structures, decision-making processes, and clinical and financial levers
  • Strong familiarity with payment integrity, claims editing, and post- and pre-payment operations
  • Understanding of software-as-a-service (SaaS) technologies and AI-powered solutions as applied to the healthcare payer ecosystem
  • Proven ability to manage C-suite level relationships and engage in enterprise-wide conversations around cost-of-care, operational efficiency, and digital transformation
  • Experience working within or selling into large national or regional health plans
  • Strategic thought leader with exceptional business acumen and the ability to lead in a matrixed, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated success in influencing product strategy and leading co-development with complex enterprise clients
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, executive presence, and interpersonal skills
  • High comfort navigating ambiguous situations and aligning cross-functional teams toward shared strategic goals


***The US base salary range for this full-time position is:

$253,861.00 - $380,792.00
