Ciklum is looking for a Senior UX/UI Consultant to join our team full-time in the US .

We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.

About the role:

As a Senior UX/UI Consultant, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. In this onshore consulting role, you will help businesses shape their product strategy, translate complex problems into intuitive user experiences, and bring to life high-performing digital products that win people’s hearts. You’ll work across diverse industries and product lifecycles, partnering directly with stakeholders from start-ups to the world’s most recognizable global brands. Bringing a blend of strategic UX thinking, sharp UI craftsmanship, and customer-driven evidence, you will define the unknown, challenge assumptions, and lead end-to-end product design from initial concept to launch.

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Product Design: Lead the design stream on client engagements—from early discovery and UX architecture (wireframes, user flows) to high fidelity UI design, interactive prototyping, and design system creation
  • Integrate Insights into Design: Conduct lightweight user research, usability testing, and evaluative synthesis, or partner closely with research teams to translate insights into actionable design solutions and product roadmaps
  • Client Consultation & Facilitation: Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders. Lead co-creation sessions, design sprints, and alignment workshops to build consensus and drive design-led business outcomes
  • Agile Integration: Drive the design process throughout discovery and delivery, ensuring seamless collaboration with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and US/offshore engineering teams in agile workflows
  • Pre-Sales & Strategy: Partner with presales and account teams to shape design scopes, pitch product visions, and estimate design efforts for prospective client engagements
  • Practice Growth: Contribute to the internal design practice—mentoring junior team members, refining internal design guidelines, and evolving our product design methodologies

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of hands-on product design experience (UX/UI) within a agency, consultancy, or fast-paced digital product environment
  • Dual UX/UI Mastery: Strong portfolio demonstrating the full product design lifecycle—user flows, information architecture, wireframing, polished visual UI, interaction design, and design systems
  • Consulting & Stakeholder Presence: Exceptional communication, storytelling, and client-facing skills. Proven ability to articulate design rationale, manage stakeholder expectations, and negotiate priorities
  • Facilitation Expertise: Experienced in leading workshops, design sprints, and discovery sessions that spark alignment and creative problem-solving
  • Research-Informed Mindset: Comfortable conducting lightweight qualitative research, running usability tests (e.g., via Maze, Figma), and leveraging analytics to validate concepts rather than relying on guesswork
  • Tooling Proficiency: Deep expertise in industry-standard tools (Figma, modern prototyping tools, token-driven design systems, and tools like Dovetail or Miro)
  • Self-Directed Ownership: Thrives in autonomous, ambiguous consulting environments; capable of driving the design agenda forward on client accounts with minimal direction
  • Developer Hand-Off: Strong track record collaborating with front-end engineers, delivering clean specs, component libraries, and maintaining QA integrity during build phases

Desirable:

  • Experience in Healthcare, Fintech / Banking, or highly regulated industries
  • Familiarity with design tokens, component-driven development, or basic front-end constraints (HTML/CSS/JS/React)
  • Experience designing AI-integrated interfaces or workflows
  • Background participating in client pitches, scoping proposals, and pre-sales activities

What’s in it for you?

  • Strong community: Work alongside top professionals in a friendly, open-door environment
  • Growth focus: Take on large-scale projects with a global impact and expand your expertise
  • Tailored learning: Boost your skills with internal events (meetups, conferences, workshops), Udemy access, language courses, and company-paid certifications
  • Endless opportunities: Explore diverse domains through internal mobility, finding the best fit to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies
  • Care: Healthcare, Basic Life Insurance, Short and Long-term disability insurance according to the Company’s Benefit Plans

About us:

At Ciklum, we are always exploring innovations, empowering each other to achieve more, and engineering solutions that matter. With us, you’ll work with cutting-edge technologies, contribute to impactful projects, and be part of a One Team culture that values collaboration and progress. In the US, Ciklum is growing fast—inviting experienced professionals to lead digital transformation alongside Fortune 500 clients. Be part of a company where innovation and impact go hand in hand.

Explore, empower, engineer with Ciklum!
