About the Role:

We're looking for a Senior Content Designer to join our team and immediately contribute to our mission of enhancing the lives of immigrants and their families by offering the most reliable global financial services products. In this role, you'll be creating UX product content for our fast-paced new products team and shape the UX content vision and strategy for these new offerings.You'll report to the Senior Manager of Product Content. This is a hybrid role to support team collaboration and is based in Remitly's office in Seattle, Washington.

You Will:

  • Lead the UX content design work for complex 0-to-1 product development for Remitly's diverse, international audience. Collaborate side by side with product design on user flows. Develop and refine messaging frameworks. Pinpoint the just-right terminology and content best practices to support both customer and business success.
  • You'll make sure that Remitly's UX product content and communications (SMS, push, email) are clear, concise, accessible, on-brand, and easy to localize. Your content will reflect a customer-friendly, confidence-boosting voice and tone that promotes customer trust and loyalty.
  • Use data, user research, and Voice of Customer feedback to inform UX content design decisions. Collaborate with UX researchers and product designers on hypothesis creation, research planning, remote and in-person UX research sessions, and evaluation. Partner with PMs and designers on A/B experimentation to uncover content insights.
  • Work with our compliance and legal teams to ensure content integrity and alignment with international regulations

You Have:

  • At least 5 years of content design experience with strong content strategy and UX writing skills and expertise in best practices.
  • A Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, UX, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.
  • A UX content design portfolio that showcases your content design thinking and how you approach and iterate your work.
  • Experience creating UX content for products with complex flows, multiple scenarios, dynamic content variations, and edge cases.
  • Expertise with design tools, especially Figma.
  • Familiarity with strategic content design tools such as content audits, gap analyses, empathy maps, messaging frameworks, and voice-and-tone frameworks.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $136,000 - $160,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
