Job Overview:

The Senior Transition Support Partner plays a critical role in facilitating the smooth and efficient onboarding of financial advisors and their teams who are transitioning to LPL Financial Corp. This individual acts as a primary point of contact, guiding advisors through the transition process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately, and providing comprehensive support to minimize disruption and maximize advisor satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the lead point of contact and subject matter expert for transitioning financial advisors, providing end-to-end support throughout the entire onboarding process.

  • Conduct initial consultations with advisors to understand their unique business needs, operational requirements, and transition timelines.

  • Develop and manage customized transition project plans, coordinating efforts across various internal departments including compliance, technology, operations, and practice management.

  • Guide advisors and their staff through the completion of all required paperwork, and account setup procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Facilitate the transfer of client accounts, assets, and data, troubleshooting any issues that arise and escalating complex problems to appropriate internal teams.

  • Provide training and support on LPL's proprietary technology platforms, tools, and resources to ensure advisors are proficient and comfortable.

  • Proactively communicate status updates, potential challenges, and key milestones to advisors and internal stakeholders.

  • Act as a liaison between advisors and various LPL departments, advocating for advisor needs and ensuring timely resolution of inquiries.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of enhanced transition support strategies and resources.

  • Maintain meticulous records of all transition activities and communications.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on advisor transitions, onboarding, or practice management support.

  • Must be able to travel up to 50-60% of the time

Core Competencies:
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex transitions simultaneously.

  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and client service skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with financial advisors.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to anticipating and addressing challenges.

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and an aptitude for learning new technologies quickly.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • High degree of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.

Preferences:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65) licenses.


 

Pay Range:

$72,100.00 - $120,098.00
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
