Job Description

Experian Direct to Consumer Line of Business is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (STPM) to join our Software Delivery Organization. Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, you will help deliver scalable, high-quality engineering solutions. Our team drives complex business problems, using both company-wide platform solutions and designing them. Delivery is an important part of the customer experience when shopping on Experian. We build global technology solutions, going beyond localization to customize programs to the logistics and e-commerce standards in each country where we operate. Responsibilities:

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you'll work with multiple partners and teams to deliver projects aligning with our goals. You will oversee the technical portfolio; create roadmaps, define milestones, and ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of products and platforms. You will also present to executives, hold engineering teams accountable, and help establish TPM practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience managing complex and cross-team projects
  • You have a technical background, ideal experience building scalable, cloud-native software solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing work, planning sprints, and providing technical programs using Agile methodology practices.
  • Experience managing dependencies across multiple teams and mitigating risk.
  • Experience collaborating with partners, including project managers, product managers, software development managers and senior leadership teams.
  • Proficiency in simplifying complex technical concepts for decision-making
  • Focus on execution, accountability, and results
  • Collaborate across different teams and organizations
  • Experience with application development and cloud technologies
  • Proficient in managing program communications with partners at all levels

Qualifications

  • BS in computer science, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years experience in software development related roles
  • 5+ years experience as Technical Program Manager or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Cloud Solutions such as AWS.
  • Experience leading Mobile, Web, and API teams and deliverables.
  • Sound understanding of microservice Architecture.
  • Understanding software development lifecycle (SDLC) and delivery pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, Figma) and AI tools (CoPilot, ChatGPT)
