Role Summary

Renew Home is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager to manage software and product development schedules, milestones, and launches. This role reports into our Director, Program Management, and will support them in executing against our product roadmap. As part of our Program Management team, you will contribute to VPP product development efforts across the energy landscape as we seek to grow the largest virtual power plant in North America. You will partner with multiple Design and Engineering teams as well as other program managers across the business development and strategic planning organizations.

What You Will Do

  • Drive product development programs to milestones while managing and communicating schedules across multiple teams to ensure efficient alignment, coordination, and execution of Renew Home’s highly cross-functional goals.
  • Facilitate progress by ensuring appropriate scheduling, resourcing, and prioritization of engineering workflows.
  • Assess and mitigate program risks based on development activities across product, design, and engineering.
  • Contribute to program management systems and structures based on best-practices and your personal experience, to effectively integrate with and support Renew Home’s world-class technical team.
  • Manage product features and projects through the full product lifecycle, with particular focus on successful testing, launch, and landing.
  • Collaborate with Product & Engineering leadership to construct and maintain product development plans, schedules, and risk trackers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Technical / Engineering Program Management.
  • Experience with software development and managing execution of programs that span multiple engineering teams.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team .
  • Experience with consumer facing products.
  • Ability to use technical judgment to drive and prioritize software engineering programs including testing, bug triage, technical launch plans, etc.
  • Ability to understand the big picture from a technical and schedule standpoint, background in engineering is a bonus.
  • Strong ability to drive programs forward, remove roadblocks, and escalate any major risks or issues.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and able to communicate at an Executive level.
  • Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously.
