About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for a Senior Technical Product Owner to join our Product and Services Analytics team. In this role, you will serve as the strategic owner of CrowdStrike’s product analytics vision, roadmap, and delivery execution — driving the development of insights, visualization features, and analytical capabilities that power one of the industry's leading cybersecurity companies. You will set the long-term product direction, influence executive-level decisions, and lead cross-functional teams through complex, high-impact initiatives that directly shape the customer experience and operational efficiency of Product and Services Analytics. This role demands deep technical expertise, exceptional strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and align various stakeholders around a shared product vision. As a senior leader on the team, you will also mentor and develop Data Analysts and partnering product owners or managers, elevating the overall product discipline across the organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and own the long-term product vision and strategy for the Product Analytics team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, customer needs, and market trends while influencing executive-level product decisions.

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and communication of a multi-horizon product roadmap, making strategic prioritization decisions that weigh short-term delivery with long-term platform investment.

  • Own and govern the full product backlog, ensuring all initiatives are clearly defined, properly prioritized, and aligned to business value and customer impact.

  • Drive the end-to-end requirements process from stakeholder discovery through to detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, thus ensuring engineering teams have the clarity needed to deliver with confidence.

  • Serve as a deeply engaged technical partner to Engineering teams, contributing to architectural discussions, evaluating technical trade-offs, and ensuring proposed data solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to product goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive and senior leadership stakeholders, proactively communicating roadmap progress, risks, trade-offs, and strategic recommendations with clarity and confidence.

  • Lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback, validate product decisions, and champion the voice of the customer throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Establish and own the framework for measuring product success, defining KPIs, interpreting analytics, and using data to continuously refine and improve the product experience.

  • Partner with operations, enablement, and customer success teams to lead the go-to-market strategy for new features and capabilities, including rollout planning, documentation, training, and stakeholder communication.

  • Proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and trade-offs across the product portfolio, ensuring leadership has full visibility into delivery health and strategic implications.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior product owners, managers, and analysts by conducting reviews, sharing best practices, and contributing to the overall growth and maturity of the product management discipline at CrowdStrike.

  • Lead ongoing research into industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to managed detection and response, translating findings into strategic product opportunities.

  • Define and maintain the highest standards for product data documentation including product analytics metrics, defined operational standards, and product data catalog.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline; MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, with at least 4+ years in a senior technical product owner or senior technical product manager capacity.

  • Deep technical expertise with hands-on experience in software architecture, APIs, data pipelines, and infrastructure concepts, with the ability to engage as a credible technical partner to engineering teams.

  • Proven track record of owning and delivering complex, multi-horizon product roadmaps in a fast-paced agile environment.

  • Demonstrated experience setting product vision and influencing executive-level product strategy across an organization.

  • Expert-level proficiency in agile and scrum methodologies, with experience leading and governing agile practices across multiple teams; Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification is a plus.

  • Strong command of data-driven product decision making; proficiency in SQL and experience with analytics tools is strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives for senior audiences.

  • Proven ability to influence and align senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams without direct authority, navigating organizational complexity with confidence and diplomacy.

  • Significant experience working in or alongside managed detection and response, SOC operations, or cybersecurity environments is highly preferred.

  • Experience mentoring junior product owners or managers, with a passion for developing talent and elevating product management capabilities across a team.

  • Deep familiarity with Snowflake, Tableau, and Salesforce is strongly preferred.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • This role will require the candidate to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint check(s) consistent with government customer requirements.

  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
