SWIVEL is seeking a talented individual who is an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the development of cutting-edge payment technologies. In this senior role, you will take ownership of highly complex projects and drive strategic initiatives, working closely with engineering and leadership teams to deliver innovative solutions. You will play a critical role in shaping product direction, ensuring alignment with business goals, and leading cross-functional teams.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Creates features, epics, and technical user stories with complex Product specifications for Dev teams to build a new platform.
  • Collaborates with leadership on the creation of the product roadmap.
  • Produces deep technical documentation for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Delivers Go to Market and Commercialization materials.
  • Helps create and update playbooks for migration, beta, pilot, sunset, and release.
  • Translates solutions into designs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manages the Product backlog for Transaction Processing.
  • Integrates 3rd party services and SaaS vendors to our platform.
  • Aligns self and others with company’s strategic vision and corporate initiatives.
  • Leads cross-functional teams in the execution of the product roadmap.
  • Performs market and competitive research to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Engages with users to gain critical insights into their pains and their ideals.
  • Applies creative thinking to design solutions based on insights and market research.
  • Manges feature sprint, epic, and product-level iterative life cycles.
  • Works cross-functionally to address stakeholder needs and concerns.
  • Articulates feature benefits to customer success and product marketing teams.
  • Influences, guides, and helps execute version releases and go-to-market plans.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience delivering Core Banking, ACH, loan payment features, debt repayment, ACH, card processing.
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in at least one of these three areas, (1) delivering technical features (SDKs, APIs) for FIs/Credit Unions; (2) delivering UIs and white label features for FIs/Credit Unions; (3) managing B2B SaaS based products and services.
  • Broad knowledge of payment technologies (debt repayment, card processing, ACH, etc.).
  • Mature product management skills including expert requirements definition
  • Product experience with scalable, performant, and highly available API based platforms, preferably with Core Banking
  • Effective communicator: you can get others excited about your product and manage multiple stakeholders across a variety of functions.
  • Experienced at using data and metrics to inform product decisions.
  • Expert visual modeler of user journeys, sequence diagrams, and procedural flows.
  • Demonstrable good judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
  • Willing and able to travel domestically on a quarterly basis to headquarters, conferences, and/or client engagements.

Compensation:

At SWBC, our pay structure is based upon the market data for each role and we have established compensation ranges to ensure that we remain competitive.  Any offer of employment is based upon individual experience, market data, and geographic location for each role. This role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation in the form of either commission or performance bonus.

The base salary range for this position is:

$154,492.00 - $247,187.20
