Workday’s Specialized technical consulting team is driven by a passion for our products and the success of our customers in implementing our best in class solutions. About the Role
This role involves leading complex technical workstreams, designing and implementing solutions that align with customer requirements, and ensuring seamless data synchronization across systems. You'll work closely with the client’s project team to ensure the customer’s successful deployments of various integration products, and services. You will help lead integration deliverables associated with Adaptive Planning and Strategic Sourcing implementation projects. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and consulting skills to significantly impact how our customers maximize the value from their Workday products.
We are looking for someone to join our team who is eager to learn with a creative mindset, great technical skills and a positive attitude.
About You
Basic Qualifications

5+ years as a software engineer or technical consultant
-
5+ years in a closely related technical area (i.e. system administration, software QA, etc.) where script writing or coding is part of the usual job duties

Experience with Adaptive Planning!

Experience with scripting languages, ie. JavaScript
-
In-depth understanding of APIs, Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML and XSLT
-
Confirmed knowledge of software development process and testing practices
Other Qualifications

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and apply technologies to address business challenges.

Experience leading a team in technical, customer-facing roles responsible for gathering requirements and designing solutions.

Experience with internet protocols, networks, and related technologies, including HTTP, XML, REST and SOAP web services
-
Experience with software delivery and support (experience with SaaS)

Understanding of relational databases including intermediate level SQL

Aptitude for problem solving and learning new technologies

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
