Censys is the leader in Internet Intelligence, delivering the world's most comprehensive and accurate real-time map of the Internet. Global enterprises, government agencies, and leading security teams rely on Censys to accelerate security operations, investigate threats, and continuously understand their Internet exposure.

This role sits at the intersection of Product, Security Research, Product Marketing, and the security practitioner community. You will turn complex product capabilities, Internet data, and original security research into clear technical narratives, workflows, demonstrations, and thought leadership that help the market understand how Censys solves real security problems.

You will work deeply in the product and alongside Censys ARC to understand emerging threats, practitioner workflows, and product differentiation, then translate that expertise into technical content, demos, talks, competitive insight, and market feedback that shape how Censys products are understood and adopted.
Your Impact
  • Scale technical knowledge across customers, partners, and customer-facing teams through world-class technical content, education, and enablement.
  • Contribute technical expertise to training, workshops, and enablement programs developed with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and partner teams.
  • Define and communicate the technical story behind Censys products across threat intelligence, security operations, threat hunting, investigations, and exposure management.
  • Translate Censys ARC research, Internet-scale data, and emerging threat activity into product use cases, practitioner workflows, technical narratives, and market-facing experiences.
  • Build hands-on demonstrations, investigations, queries, and technical proof points that show how Censys solves real-world security problems.
  • Develop authoritative technical content and thought leadership for practitioners, customers, analysts, and the broader security community.
What You'll Do
  • Work directly in Censys products and datasets to develop repeatable threat hunting, CTI, investigation, detection engineering, and exposure-management workflows.
  • Create strategic technical content including research-driven blogs, deep dives, technical guides, presentations, demos, webinars, and conference talks.
  • Develop and maintain reusable technical demonstrations, investigation scenarios, screenshots, interactive product experiences, and example queries.
  • Identify technical stories hidden within new product capabilities and research findings, and determine the strongest ways to communicate them to practitioners.
  • Conduct technical competitive analysis by testing competing products, validating claims, and documenting meaningful differences in data, workflows, and outcomes.
  • Support analyst, customer, and executive briefings as a technical subject-matter expert.
  • Partner with Product Management to provide structured feedback from practitioners, customers, analysts, researchers, and the field.
  • Support launches by shaping technical narratives, use cases, demos, and practitioner education alongside Product Marketing.
  • Contribute technical expertise to enablement, customer education, website content, and campaigns when deep product or security knowledge is required.
Skills You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity in Technical Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Customer Success, Product Management, Product Marketing, or a related technical customer-facing role.
  • Experience with Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, Exposure Management, Attack Surface Management, or related cybersecurity technologies.
  • Exceptional technical writing, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to practitioners, partners, and customer-facing teams.
  • Experience creating technical content, sales enablement, partner enablement, training, certification, or educational programs.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand complex products, customer workflows, and technical architectures.
  • Experience delivering technical workshops, customer education, demos, or instructor-led training.
  • Experience working with security data, APIs, query languages, SIEMs, threat intelligence platforms, Internet scanning platforms, or similar technical systems.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in threat intelligence, security research, threat hunting, DFIR, detection engineering, or adversary infrastructure analysis.
  • Familiarity with Internet scanning, DNS, TLS, certificates, hosting infrastructure, cloud services, network protocols, and Internet-facing services.
  • Experience with threat intelligence platforms, SIEMs, EDR/XDR, ASM/EASM, or security data platforms.
  • Experience presenting at security conferences, practitioner events, webinars, or analyst briefings.
  • Experience writing or contributing to published security research.
  • Familiarity with APIs, Python, SQL, query languages, or other tools used to explore large security datasets.
