NVIDIA has become the platform upon which every new AI-powered application is built. From big, challenging Generative AI applications to autonomous vehicles, or voice-recognition systems, the need for advanced perception and cognitive capabilities is exploding... and NVIDIA is right in the center of this revolution! We are looking for a Senior Technical Explainer to bring the story of these groundbreaking AI advancements to life. This role of technical explainer is a new function at NVIDIA. It blends animation, storytelling, technical insight, and design to help our customers understand the innovations fueling accelerated computing at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Create short explainer videos and animated content that simplify complex AI, GPU, and data center technologies.

  • Transforming architecture papers, benchmarks, and product announcements into visually engaging assets for blogs, keynotes, technical whitepapers, and developer events.

  • Build interactive visualizations and graphics using tools like Python, AI image generators, and web-based animation frameworks (e.g., D3.js, Manim).

  • Design stunning animations and screen captures using Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator), ScreenFlow, or similar tools.

  • Produce captivating PowerPoint and Google Slides animations for executive keynotes, customer briefings, and promotions.

  • Collaborate closely with engineers, researchers, and marketers at NVIDIA and partners to identify technical insights and craft compelling stories.

  • Turn content into reusable assets (GIFs, explainers, templates) that scale across NVIDIA’s partner and developer ecosystem.

  • Leverage NVIDIA software tools (e.g., NV Broadcast, Maxine, Omniverse) to explore new ways of content creation and developer engagement while prominently featuring these tools in produced content.

What We Need to See:

  • 6+ years of experience in technical content creation, animation, or explainer video production, ideally in a technology or scientific domain.

  • Fluency in visual storytelling and deep understanding of how to communicate technical concepts to technical audiences.

  • Proficiency with Python, AI tools (e.g., GenAI for image/video creation), and experience using interactive graphics frameworks.

  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Canva, and Screenflow or similar video editing and animation tools.

  • Portfolio of work demonstrating technical explainer content, such as animated explainer videos, blog illustrations, or interactive visualizations.

  • Familiarity with AI and data center technologies—or willingness to dive deep and learn fast.

  • Experience designing for executive presentations, keynotes, or developer conferences is a big plus.

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:

  • You’re inspired by creators like 3blue1brown (3b1b), Welch Labs, or MinutePhysics and can replicate that style with technical depth.

  • Contributed to open-source projects, visualized research papers, or published interactive graphics or explainers online.

  • You have experience using AI tools for automated visual generation and can script or prompt effectively.

  • Built or supported technical content at scale, turning one-off visuals into scalable content libraries.

You’ll be at the forefront of helping the world understand and adopt AI, working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry! You'll shape how NVIDIA’s innovations are perceived by our customers through interactive content that educates, inspires, and moves people to build.

The base salary range is 136,000 USD - 247,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
