What you will do:
The Technical Consultant is responsible for managing and implementing software solutions for implementations, client change requests, company initiatives and other projects involving the Precisely Engage product suite for large financial services clients. You will act as a trusted technical advisor – helping customers solve complex integration challenges, ensuring smooth onboarding, and working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders. The Technical Consultant is responsible for documenting, planning, managing, and successfully implementing configurations for a Hosted Managed Services platform within scope, schedule, and budget. The Technical Consultant is involved from initial Pre-Sales efforts through design, development, configurations, testing, and implementation. The Technical Consultant is responsible for configurations and integrations of Engage platform solutions to meet client contractual deliverables to ensure a successful project delivery for all stakeholders.
- Solution Management: Partners with Pre-Sales to assess client needs, identify technical gaps and proposed solutioning.
- Technical Management: Acts as architects and manages configurations, integrations and validations outlined in the client contracts.
- Client Engagement: Provides technical liaison to internal managers and team members for cross departmental or external coordination.
- Documentation Management: Develops technical specifications, integration guides and provides internal and external training.
- Delivery Management: Partners with internal and external technical resources to troubleshoot issues, escalate risks and provide mitigation strategies. Executes transition of client solutions to Operations through formal knowledge transfer and hyper care support.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical consulting, software support, or cloud implementation role.
- 2+ years of external client-facing technical project involvement with financial services clients.
- 2+ years of experience working for a SaaS based software solutions company.
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch) and cloud fundamentals.
- Proven track record of technical project involvement with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of execution and delivery of assignments on a tight deadline.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability in fast-paced technical environments.
- Ability to collaborate with the project team to meet client and company expectations.
- Ability to understand and articulate solution business value and impact to client stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with SaaS or enterprise software deployments.
- Experience working on technical software projects.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Experience working within a retail banking or insurance environment.
- Exposure to CRM, ERP, or data integration workflows.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Experience with JIRA and Salesforce
