About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant in Technology as part of Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology. This candidate will play a role in developing and delivering best in class data management solutions in support of the Markets & Counterparty Risk Management business. As a member of Capital Markets Risk Technology, the Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant will liaise with Business Sponsor in translating business requirements into best-in-class technology solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems
  • Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements
  • Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems
  • Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions
  • Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables
  • Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of experience in technology delivery and relationship management
  • 2+ years of experience in Data Management including data modeling, data integrity and data quality
  • 4+ years of experience in Capital Markets
  • 4+ years of experience on SQL

  • 4+ years of experience in translating business and functional requirements into conceptual, logical and physical data models
  • 2+ years of experience on prototyping/analysis experience using Python/Dataframe, Excel/VBA or other analytics functional language
  • 2+ years of experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts
  • 4+ years of experience writing User Stories, test cases using BDD (Gherkin language)

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience working with developers to implement new data paths
  • 2+ years of participation in complex technology programs required for regulatory business requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of data modeling tools, such as Power Designer
  • 2+ years of experience in BI solutions e.g. Dremio/Tableau
