Our Talent Acquisition Centre of Expertise is dedicated to identifying and engaging top talent who will shape the future of healthcare. As a Senior Talent Sourcing Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation—proactively discovering and connecting with exceptional candidates for EMEA leadership roles with a strong focus on Director level sourcing.

We are searching for a creative, digitally fluent and curious sourcing professional who is keen to experiment with new ideas, leverage digital tools to build world-class pipelines.

As a Senior Talent Sourcing Specialist, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Strategic Sourcing Partnership
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners, HRBPs, and hiring managers to deeply understand hiring needs and craft innovative, tailored sourcing strategies
  • Act as a sourcing thought leader, advising on cutting-edge market engagement, channel mix, and creative messaging
  • Proactive & Innovative Talent Sourcing creating talent pipelines
  • Use advanced search techniques—Boolean logic, X-ray searching, data mining, and more to uncover and engage passive talent across diverse platforms
  • Experiment with new technologies and sourcing methods to discover talent others might overlook
  • Build and nurture talent pools for critical and recurring roles, ensuring a steady pipeline of high-caliber candidates
Market Intelligence
  • Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis, providing actionable insights on talent availability, compensation trends, and location strategies
  • Share market intelligence to empower hiring teams with up-to-date information
Technology & Tools
  • Leverage sourcing platforms, CRM systems and our ATS (Workday) to manage talent pipelines and candidate data efficiently
  • Stay ahead of emerging sourcing technologies, championing the adoption of innovative digital tools to enhance effectiveness
Candidate Experience
  • Serve as a Medtronic brand ambassador, crafting engaging and memorable candidate experiences from initial outreach through to handoff to local recruiters
  • Communicate Medtronic’s value proposition with creativity and consistency
Metrics & Reporting
  • Track and analyse sourcing performance metrics, using data insights to continually refine and improve strategies
  • Share results and recommendations with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
Key Skills & Experience  
  • Bachelor’s Level 8 degree and minimum of 4 years relevant talent sourcing experience, or advanced degree with minimum 2 years relevant experience
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Experience mentoring hiring managers and recruiters
  • Demonstrated expertise in sourcing through multiple channels, with a passion for experimenting with new tools and approaches
  • Experience in employer branding is desirable
  • Strong curiosity and drive to stay current with the latest sourcing trends and technologies
  • Experience sourcing Director level roles and polished stakeholder management skills with Senior Leadership
