Summary:

Our growing technology company seeks an experienced IT professional to join our elite team. We are looking for a self-motivated, customer service-oriented Senior Systems Administrator to provide internal technical support in an efficient and accurate manner, advise and assist project teams with technology needs, and assist with the maintenance and growth of our IT systems. You will be the company's front line for solving IT-related problems.

Preferred location to be hybrid in the DC metropolitan office or Lehi, UT office. Open to other locations for the right candidate. This person must also respond to emergency events during non-business hours, including scheduled maintenance windows after hours.

What You’ll Do:

• Administer Entra ID (Azure AD) for access control, app registrations, and identity lifecycle management across enterprise applications and SaaS integrations.
• Manage Intune endpoint policies, compliance baselines, and application deployments to maintain secure and efficient device management for hybrid and remote users.
• Oversee SharePoint, Teams, and other M365 services—maintaining permissions, content lifecycle, and collaboration governance to ensure platform reliability and compliance.
• Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows and PowerShell scripts to streamline IT processes, automate provisioning, and improve service delivery across cloud systems.
• Support enterprise applications and integrations, ensuring stability and security through proper authentication, API, and SSO configurations.
• Maintain accurate hardware, software, and license inventories; oversee lifecycle management, patching, and configuration compliance across all environments.
• Administer branch office network infrastructure, including Ubiquiti UniFi switches, gateways, and wireless access points, ensuring reliable, secure connectivity and VPN integration.

  • Maintain physical security systems, including access control platforms, security cameras, and badge management, ensuring reliable operation and policy compliance.

What You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years of experience in systems administration or enterprise IT operations, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 and cloud-based environments.

  • Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and enterprise application integrations using SAML/SSO.

  • Knowledge of certificate management, SCEP enrollment, and lifecycle maintenance for secure communication and device trust.

  • Experience administering cloud-based DNS (e.g., Route 53) and registrar management for organizational domains.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based monitoring tools, VPN solutions, and endpoint compliance enforcement.

  • Proficiency with Power Automate and PowerShell scripting to automate administrative workflows and recurring system tasks.

  • Working knowledge of SharePoint Online, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services, including access controls and governance.

  • Experience tracking and auditing software licensing across enterprise applications and SaaS platforms.

  • Experience supporting physical security systems such as access control, surveillance cameras, and door badge infrastructure.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to respond effectively to operational issues.

  • Microsoft or equivalent cloud certifications preferred (e.g., M365 Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, or Security).

We’d Love to See:

  • A passion for optimizing system performance through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation to improve uptime and user experience.

  • Proven ability to streamline workflows using PowerShell, Power Automate, or similar tools to reduce manual effort and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 administration—including Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, and Teams—to maintain a secure and reliable collaboration environment.

  • Experience supporting enterprise applications with SAML/SSO integrations, certificate management, and compliance-driven access controls.

  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on clear documentation, continuous improvement, and cross-team alignment across IT, security, and operations.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure concepts such as Route 53 DNS, cloud monitoring, and remote VPN solutions (a plus).

  • Experience maintaining physical security systems, including badge access, guest management, and camera infrastructure.
