As a Senior Support Instructional Designer at Stryker, you will sustain, design and develop technical learning experiences: in the classroom, virtual, e-learning and on-the-job. You will ensure operational excellence when deploying and supporting our products. You will collaborate with our Stryker Technical Support, Customer Excellence, Digital Education and R&D experts with the objective to continue advancing our technical talent in deep product knowledge, customer service, process execution and skills in industry leading technologies.
What you will do:
- You will develop instructional design strategies and implement technology initiatives utilizing Articulate 360, Captivate and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Digital Education, Customer Excellence and Technical Support experts to understand learning objectives, prioritize tasks, negotiate content, communicate timeframes, and to ensure content accuracy and quality.
- Lead and mentor others in the development of improvement plans based on feedback received from stakeholders.
- Provide creative and unique solutions that enhance education, engage learners and transfer knowledge more effectively.
- You will provide instructional design consultation, technology application consultation, and instructional asset development for online and blended learning experiences
- Build new online courses, interactive labs and technical certifications using writing, graphic design, branding, image editing, document formatting, animation, video, audio and e-learning authoring tools
What you need:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business or Instructional Design
- 2 years experience in instructional design, organization development or training and development within a technical or corporate environment
- Certification in instructional design or related field required
- Experience transforming raw content and data into interactive eLearning content with full narrative and illustrations
- Demonstrated project management skills including the ability to meet deadlines, problem solve and commit to results
- Ability to develop interactive learning experiences using any of the following eLearning development tools and software: LMS, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia
Preferred:
- Demonstrated experience with Cisco wireless networks and equipment, Windows server and/or Linux operating systems
- Experience creating presentations and communicating to large groups verbally and in written formats
- Experience with configuration and troubleshooting of Acute Care products is a plus.
