This is a remote position based the United States.

Calix is seeking a Go-to-Market (GTM) Success Engagement Manager (SEM) to join our team, primarily aligned to enterprise level broadband service providers (BSPs). The GTM SEM will be responsible for engaging with Tier 2 & Tier 1 BSPs, and their respective sales and success management teams, to deliver GTM domain expertise. They will help evolve, create and update programs, content and delivery to help BSP’s better align, utilize industry best practices, and focus more strongly on the subscriber experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Tier 2 or Tier 1 broadband space and familiarity with the complexities of large broadband operations.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Consult with BSP customers to help them with their go-to-market strategies and execution with their subscribers, leveraging data to help guide the conversation and processes
  • Work with customers to help deliver value for the investments they’ve made with Calix and help drive subscriber adoption for Calix managed services offerings
  • Guide GTM strategies and best practices, including helping with the development of value-based service offerings that include managed services
  • Provide consultative and, at times, prescriptive guidance on GTM objectives, including changes to and enhancements to customer business objectives

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Services, Success, and Sales teams to help create compelling multi-dimensional solutions that deliver exceptional value to broadband service providers and their communities
  • Identify opportunities within the account for additional Calix solutions
  • Guide BSPs to data sources (both Calix-provided and external) that will help facilitate their movement to and adoption of our best practices.
  • Work with customers to identify and track key business metrics (KPIs) and then develop a plan that addresses those objectives over time and across departments
  • Gather feedback on Calix GTM and products/services for continuous offering enhancement and customer value
  • Effectively communicate, disseminate and validate self-service assets for customer use
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years’ developing and executing GTM campaigns, including: ability to provide a consultative – and at times – prescriptive approach on marketing plan development and execution; a clear understanding of how ROI will be measured and analyzed for campaigns and GTM changes; experience leveraging data to create targeted marketing campaigns; involvement in bringing new products or services to market.
  • 3+ years’ experience either directly in a Tier 2 or Tier 1 broadband service provider, or as a consultant, support or success resource to those providers
  • Experience in B2C, B2B and B2B2C marketing required
  • Preferred: Experience in leading or working with marketing teams in the SaaS, Telecommunications or Broadband industry
  • Ability to navigate complex business structures, identifying and aligning with various key teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to learn/understand technical aspects of Calix Engagement Cloud solutions and the broader Calix platform and align them to customer requirements, identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell to deepen penetration of solutions within the customer environment.
  • Strong written communication and public speaking/presentation skills; executive presence
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, think strategically, and execute tactically while providing consistently high levels of customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
  • Future Travel Expectation: Less than 30%
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
