We’re seeking a strategic thinker to analyze and shape Vanguard’s Cash & Savings portfolio through deep market and competitive insights. In this role, you will canvas the financial and banking landscape to uncover competitive advantages and vulnerabilities, track industry movements, and identify trends that impact our cash and savings products. Your insights will inform product strategy, client experience enhancements, and marketing messaging to ensure Vanguard remains differentiated and client focused.
Core Responsibilities
Lead strategic and competitive analysis
Develop and lead complex business, client, and product analyses across the Cash & Savings portfolio. Independently define business problems and planned approaches for research and analysis. Conduct competitive, industry, and market assessments on Cash & Savings products and client experiences—including digital capabilities, money movement features, positioning, and marketing strategies.
Translate insights into actionable recommendations
Synthesize findings from market research, competitor analysis, and client feedback into clear, strategic recommendations. Inform future product and client experience roadmaps, marketing strategies, and overall strategic direction. Conduct impact assessments of new features.
Analyze complex data and craft compelling narratives
Interpret and validate complex data, and client feedback to derive meaningful insights. Organize and present data in a compelling storyline that highlights opportunities and risks, ensuring recommendations are actionable and aligned with business objectives.
Monitor industry and competitive trends
Stay ahead of market movements, competitor strategies, and emerging features that influence client expectations and product positioning. Keep senior management informed of key trends and recommend enhancements to capabilities, services, and messaging.
Collaborate and contribute to strategic initiatives
Partner with cross-functional teams—including fraud, risk, and operations—to ensure alignment and product integrity. Participate in special projects and contribute to initiatives that strengthen Vanguard’s competitive position and client experience.
Qualifications
Minimum of five years related work experience.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
