Make Your Mark:
This position will interface with every level of the organization to drive informed decision-making for our global workplace and facilities categories. The role will propel cost savings, cost avoidance, and risk mitigation, improving business outcomes through effective strategic sourcing activities and vendor relationship management for all facilities and workplace services.
You'll Get To:
  • Cross-Functional Project Leadership: Lead sourcing and procurement workstreams for new office build-outs, relocations, and major renovation projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
  • Lead sourcing projects, including vendor selection (RFIs, RFPs), negotiation, and contracting for other facilities-related goods and services such as maintenance, janitorial, security, and office amenities.
  • Market Intelligence: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, supplier landscapes, and cost trends to proactively identify sourcing opportunities and risks.
  • Identification and realization of cost-savings, supply risk reduction opportunities, and building a culture of long-term savings without compromising supply assurance or quality.
  • Should-Cost Modeling: Create and utilize should-cost models for key spend categories to drive negotiation strategies and ensure market-competitive pricing.
  • Vendor Performance Management: Establish and manage a robust vendor performance management program, including scorecards, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM): In partnership with legal and security teams, manage the end-to-end vendor risk process, from initial security assessments to ongoing monitoring of critical facilities vendors.
  • Develop sourcing strategy and plans in close coordination with internal stakeholders, including Workplace, Facilities, and Real Estate teams.
  • Continuous learning and development of knowledge of strategic sourcing methods, WPS | Facilities service categories, and general supply market conditions to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to, and monitor compliance with, company strategic sourcing policies and procedures to transact business with the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and professional conduct.

What You'll Bring:
  • Years of Experience in Related Field: 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, or global procurement, with a significant focus on workplace services and facilities, construction, or other corporate services spend.
  • Education: BS Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or Management.
  • Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to all levels of the organization, from one-on-one meetings to executive management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and strategic sourcing best practices.
  • Effective written communication skills to summarize complex concepts and terms into executive summaries.
  • Must be comfortable working in a high-pace environment, be able to multi-task, and have a hands-on attitude.
  • Must be able to excel in a flexible, fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills, high level of attention to detail, and a self-starter with a "can-do" mentality.

  • Specific Category Expertise: Demonstrated sourcing experience in critical facilities sub-categories, including Integrated Facility Management (IFM), commercial real estate brokerage, design & build services, capital projects, hard and soft services (hard services (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing), soft services (e.g., janitorial, security)), and office amenities.
  • Lease Abstraction & Analysis: Experience reviewing and abstracting key commercial terms from real estate lease agreements.
  • Advanced Negotiations: Proven expertise in negotiating complex, high-value contracts, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).• Financial & Data Analysis: Strong financial acumen with the ability to perform detailed spend analysis, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, and build compelling business cases.• E-Sourcing Tools: Hands-on experience with e-sourcing and procure-to-pay (P2P) platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Scout RFP).
  • Strong understanding of global facilities operations and experience partnering with workplace and real estate teams.

Salary Range:
USD $175,000.00/Yr. - USD $219,000.00/Yr.
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
