Narvar is growing! We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Staff Product Designer to help shape the future of design at Narvar. This senior role will focus on our most complex product and organizational challenges, influencing our company-wide strategy and maturing our design practice.

As a Senior Staff Product Designer, you will work in close partnership with the Senior Director of Product Design to define and drive a cohesive, platform-centric design vision for the Narvar product ecosystem. Operating beyond the scope of a single product pillar, you will be responsible for developing the foundational frameworks and principles that will help our entire design team scale effectively.

Day-to-day
  • Design the north-star vision: Define, articulate, and evangelize the long-term design vision and strategy for the entire Narvar product ecosystem, inspiring teams and influencing the company-level roadmap.
  • Solve foundational challenges: Tackle the most ambiguous and technically complex challenges the company faces, creating foundational design frameworks and principles that enable other teams to build high-quality experiences at scale.
  • Partner with senior leadership: Work directly with the heads of Product and Engineering to ensure design is a key driver of company strategy, not just a function of product development.
  • Scale the design organization: Mentor and develop our most senior designers (including Staff-level designers), acting as a key leader in evolving our team processes and culture.
  • Represent design: Serve as the authority and leading voice for design within the company, articulating a compelling narrative about its value, potential, and future at Narvar.
  • Own company-wide systems: Own the creation, adoption, and governance of company-wide design principles, patterns, and systems that will define Narvar's user experience for years to come.
What we’re looking for
  • 10+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio that demonstrates proven leadership in shaping the design strategy of entire product lines or companies.
  • Exceptional business acumen: You are a world-class product thinker who fluidly balances user needs and business goals. You develop and leverage frameworks to bring clarity to complex strategic problems.
  • Masterful influence: You are an expert relationship builder who can influence without authority, and build consensus among senior leaders. You know when to push and when to support to get the best outcomes.
  • Accelerated learner: Your ability to learn quickly is a superpower. You become a domain expert in record time, allowing you to confidently tackle ambiguous problems across the organization and be productive from day one.
  • Inspirational communicator: You build momentum through vision. You translate complex strategies into inspiring stories and prototypes that help everyone see the path forward, making them eager to start building.
  • Force multiplier: You are exceptionally fast and efficient, producing work at a volume and quality that has an outsized, 10x impact on the organization and the teams around you.
  • Master of systems and scale: You not only untangle complexity but create new, scalable systems and frameworks from scratch that multiple teams can successfully build upon.
