About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Specialty Software Engineer (Pega) in Claims Technology Organization within the COO Technology. COO Technology group provides technology services for the Chief Operating Office. This includes operations, control executives, strategic execution, business continuity and resiliency, data solutions and services, regulatory relations, customer experience, enterprise shared services, supply chain management, and the corporate properties group. TCOO provides technology solutions and manages application portfolios for these groups to support modernization and optimization.

The Wells Fargo Fraud and Claims Technology organization builds and operates products and services to reduce fraud while retaining a best-in-class user experience. Our work directly impacts Wells Fargo's bottom line, and we help build a safer financial ecosystem for our customers. In this role, we are looking for someone who has built and shipped fraud products and services at scale. You are someone who enjoys diving into and deeply understanding the banking and financial business.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead the development of complex, large-scale enterprise applications using Pega technology.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, ensuring seamless integration with ongoing product and platform releases.
  • Work in an agile development environment, collaborating with architects, developers, product owners, and other cross- functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Establish and promote best practices in software development, system architecture, and deployment across test, integration, and production environments.
  • Actively participate in code reviews and automated testing to uphold engineering excellence.
  • Design, develop, and maintain seamless system integrations, including internal and external APIs, file transfers, and SQL queries.
  • Influence and drive creative improvements, challenging the status quo to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of Pega Software Engineering experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Agile Software Development
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree.
  • Pega Senior System Architect Certification (Pega CSSA)
  • Strong expertise in Pega Case Management, application security, integration rules (connectors and services), and Pega's layering concepts for optimal reusability
  • Experience in Dispute, Fraud, or any case management domain is a plus.
Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
Iselin, NJ Pay Range: $143,000 - $183,500 - $224,000
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
