Purpose: The Senior Solutions Engineer is responsible for supporting the sale of our Connected Curriculum suite of solutions, Modern Campus Catalog, Curriculum, Pathways, Schedule and Navigate. The role is a vital part of the SES sales organization in supporting the acquisition of new logo clients and helping existing clients gain more from the technology they are already consuming. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert, have great written and oral presentation skills, and have experience working within the higher education environment. Successful candidates will receive training in the Connected Curriculum product line with the option for additional product lines. Business travel is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all sales activity as the functional and technical expert, with deep knowledge of the Modern Campus Connected Curriculum products.  
  • Lead successful demonstrations and technical consultations to key client stakeholders, clearly explaining the functional and technical features of the products. 
  • Attend prospect sales meetings and use your experience and knowledge to make key contributions to advance the opportunities.  
  • Build customized demonstrations based on requirements provided by Regional Directors, Account Managers and prospects. 
  • Assist with development of responses to functional and technical questions as part of RFP and Proposal processes.  
  • Act as the voice of the market, distilling and conveying insights and needs to colleagues in Product.

  • Superior communication and presentation skills 
  • Ability to travel within North America
