NVIDIA is building the world’s leading AI company, and we are looking for an expert network and systems infrastructure Solutions Architect to help bring ground breaking large scale clusters of hardware and software technologies to production in the field. As part of the Automotive Solutions Architecture team, we work with some of the most innovative customers focused on the development and test of autonomous vehicles. A Solutions Architect is the first line of technical expertise between NVIDIA and customers so you will engage directly with developers, researchers, and visionary scientists at some of the most strategic customers as well as work directly with business and engineering teams on product strategy as it pertains to these customers. What you will be doing:
  • Working with NVIDIA Automotive customers on data center GPU server and networking infrastructure projects as solution architect. Guiding customer journey to server, network, and cluster deployments and lead discussions about network topologies, compute, management, telemetry, and storage fabrics.
  • Identifying new business/project opportunities for NVIDIA products and technology solutions in data center and artificial intelligence applications. Work closely with the Engineering, Product management and Sales teams.
  • Conducting regular technical customer meetings for project/product roadmap, feature discussions and introduction to new technology solutions.
  • Building custom product demonstrations and POCs for solutions that address critical business needs of our customers.
  • Analyzing and solving compute/network performance issues.
  • Preparing and delivering technical training presentations and workshops.
What we need to see:
  • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or other Engineering fields or equivalent experience.
  • This role is for an individual with the motivation and skills to drive the technical pre-sales process.
  • 8+ years of Solution Engineering (or similar Sales Engineering roles) experience
  • Advance practical knowledge of Networking - Data Center topologies, routing and switching protocols, and Ethernet/Infiniband
  • System level understanding of server architecture, PCIe devices, NICs, Linux OS and kernel drivers
  • Knowledge of DevOps/MLOps technologies such as Docker/containers, Kubernetes, data center compute/network/storage deployments
  • Effective time management and capable of balancing multiple tasks and ability to communicate your ideas/code clearly through documents, presentation etc
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • External customer facing skill-set and background
  • Systems engineering, coding, and debugging skills including experience C/C++, Linux kernel and drivers
  • Hands-on experience with NVIDIA systems/SDKs (e.g. CUDA), NVIDIA Networking technologies (e.g., DPU, RoCE, InfiniBand), and/or ARM CPU solutions
  • Familiarity of concepts for virtualization environments
  • Able to think creatively to debug and solve problems

We make extensive use of conferencing tools, but occasional travel is required for local on-site visit to customers and industry events. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
