Job Overview:

Our company is seeking an inspired Senior Developer with a background in developing cloud-native web applications, leveraging technologies such as C#, AWS, API Gateway, EKS, Lambda, Glue, Aurora PostgreSQL, and Kafka.

Activities will include the development and enhancement of a series of prototypes to test design concepts for target state capabilities, then using feedback to refine and progress towards a scalable platform.  The role will require flexible thinking as the team works to integrate existing business and technology concepts with evolutionary design to deliver results.

Please note that this role requires reporting to an LPL Financial office up to 3 days a week, with a preferred location in Charlotte/Fort Mill, SC.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in activities which drive the design and development of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance, using C#, AWS, API Gateway, EKS, Lambda, Glue, Aurora PostGre, Kafka.

  • Work with Product Owners and Product Managers to translate business problem statements into technical solutions, and then help plan Sprints that deliver high-quality demonstrations.

  • Assist in the technical assessment of risks and issues, and document recommendations

  • Once production build commences, coach the team in developing appropriate technical documentation following SDLC guidelines

  • Communicate with technical and non-technical groups regularly as part of product support

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/related field

  • Minimum of 6 Years of experience within a combination of .NET, Angular and JavaScript, Aurora PostGre.

  • Minimum of 4 Years of demonstrated software development

  • Minimum of 3+ years of AWS experience, AWS (container and serverless), and/or front-end technologies including CSS, Semantic HTML and Responsive Design.

Technical Competencies:
  • Excellent knowledge of OOP concepts, data modeling, and design

  • Hands-on experience with API Management

  • Using search, index, and distributed caching tools such as Coherence and Apache Solr patterns/framework

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge in designing, refactoring, and unit testing

  • Team Foundation Server/ Visual Studio 2017/19

  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile development process


 

Pay Range:

$106,125-$176,875/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
