We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that enable scientists and researchers to leverage and analyze complex datasets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements, design and implement scalable software architectures, and ensure the reliability and performance of our software products.

What You Will Do

  • Join the TetraScience engineering team to develop a cutting-edge application for our customers.
  • Design and implement scalable foundational services to support data pipeline processing, search functionality, user management, and other customer-facing features.
  • Work on ML infrastructure and Generative AI applications to advance scientific use cases.
  • Build and deliver high-quality products using Agile software development methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to transform vision and ideas into tangible results.
  • Work with a geographically distributed team across various time zones.
  • Engage in continuous learning, growth, and professional development.
  • Articulate your vision to peers and leadership, while being open to constructive feedback and maintaining resilience.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency (7+ years) in Node.js, TypeScript, and Python.
  • Over 7 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Extensive experience with databases, including relational, NoSQL, and data platform infrastructure.
  • Experience with big data distributed systems, such as Databricks, Snowflake, AWS EMR, Glue, and other lakehouse technologies.
  • Proven track record with large-scale data distributed systems.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
