Position Overview

ATLAS SP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing technology team and play a key role in building systems that power our core operations and accounting functions. This individual will work closely with business partners to design and deliver cash management platforms, warehousing systems, and data management solutions critical to the firm’s success. As part of a highly experienced development team, the Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with fellow technologists to build scalable, resilient systems to support the growth of the firm.

Primary Responsibilities

•    Design, code, test, and deploy enterprise software and scripts to support operations, product control, and accounting
•    Collaborate with the business and development teams to understand our data and processes
•    Partner with financial professionals on creating flexible systems that are both stable and provide transparency of business logic 

Required Qualification and Experience

•    5+ years of experience in technical roles in financial services
•    Relevant university degree
•    Experience in object-oriented programing and relational databases 
•    Experience with fixed income
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
•    Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively
•    Results oriented and commercial
•    Understanding of REST APIs and software design principles 

Preferred Qualification and Experience

•    Professional Experience with Python/Pandas 
•    Experience with mortgage finance or credit markets
•    Excel power user

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
