Position Overview

ATLAS SP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to collaborate closely with business partners to create new tools and applications that enable, streamline, and support our core businesses as it relates to CLS (ACBS) lending platform. This individual will work to rapidly implement innovative solutions to streamline decision making, data availability, analytics, and client reporting. Additionally, the Senior Software Engineer will be a member of our experienced development team and will partner with other technologists to design and implement sustainable systems to facilitate rapid scale and exceptional functionality.

Primary Responsibilities

•    Design, code, test, and deploy enterprise software and scripts to support our business goals.
•    Collaborate with the business and development teams to understand our data and processes.
•    Partner with financial professionals on creating flexible systems that are both stable and provide transparency of business logic. 
•    Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
•    Optimize software performance and scalability.
•    Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
•    Contribute to architectural decisions and system design.
•    Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define project scope.
•    Integrate vendor systems with internal workflow and applications.

Required Qualification and Experience

•    10+ years of experience in a technical role in financial services industry.
•    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
•    Experience in object-oriented programing and Advanced working SQL knowledge, familiar with various databases such as SQL Server and Snowflake.
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•    Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively.
•    Results oriented and commercial.
•    Working knowledge of REST APIs and software design principles. 

Preferred Qualification and Experience

•    Experience with loan finance and credit markets.
•    Excel Power User.
•    Proven experience in financial services industry.  Knowledge of CLS (formerly ACBS) commercial lending application or similar industry lending platforms are a plus.
•    Familiarity with cloud platforms.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
