About the Team

The Billing Team sits at the core of Dandy’s business and collaborates cross-functionally with other brilliant Dandy engineers and ambitious business partners. This team is responsible for building industry-defining billing experiences and a robust pipeline that manages Dandy’s revenue streams on a hyper-growth path.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers to build new features and products.

  • Own problems end-to-end, thinking through everything from user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and ongoing metrics.

  • Proactively identify and prioritize improvements to the team’s processes, codebases, and best practices.

  • Work primarily with Typescript, React, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience working as a software engineer.

  • Experience with modern web tooling and frameworks (such as TypeScript, React, Apollo, Storybook, and Webpack).

  • You’re self-directed and can operate autonomously to deliver scaled impact.

  • Ability to hold yourself and the team to high standards,

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with billing, payment and sales platforms (ex: Salesforce, Stripe, Avalara)

  • Experience in building complex software systems to handle high volume transactions

  • Love for working with numbers, big data and large code base

  • Attention to detail and yet bias for action

Compensation Range: $200K - $222.5K
