The Senior Social Media Manager is responsible for driving Workiva’s organic social strategy to build and deepen relationships with our core audiences. In this highly collaborative role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to elevate our internal thought leaders, create high-value content, and bring the Workiva point of view to life on social channels. From breaking news reactions to snackable tips and how-to’s, the Senior Social Media Manager will play a key part in amplifying our brand value and differentiation.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and execute Workiva’s organic social strategy to drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and revenue growth

  • Oversee the creation, curation, and management of all published content on Workiva’s social channels

  • Ensure messaging consistency and brand alignment across all postings

  • Own and manage the social media calendar, ensuring timely and relevant scheduling and posting

  • Partner with key stakeholders across Marketing and People & Culture teams to execute social campaigns that support business objectives

  • Define, track, and report on key performance metrics for organic social, while providing actionable insights to optimize future initiatives

  • Leverage social listening tools to identify trends and gather audience insights that can inform our content strategy

  • Develop and evangelize social best practices and guidelines to equip employees and internal thought leaders in representing the Workiva brand

  • Stay current on industry trends and new technologies in social media, applying them to  improve engagement and performance

What You’ll Need 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field

  • 6+ years of experience in social media management 

  • Experience in the B2B technology industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in social strategy, planning, and building social followings 

  • Excellent written communication skills, with a talent for crafting social copy that drives action and engagement

  • Strong understanding of the nuances of social media for B2B audiences (accounting and finance focus a plus)

  • Successful track record of developing and executing large, cross-channel social activations with measurable results

  • Analytics and SEO knowledge to increase exposure to Workiva’s social channels and other owned media/digital assets

  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams across a global SaaS organization

  • Adept at managing multiple priorities and stakeholders

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions

  • 15% travel for company events and internal meetings

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office

How You’ll Be Rewarded

✅ Salary range in the US: $106,000.00 - $172,000.00

✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
