As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and supporting innovative solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to deliver scalable applications, visualizations, and workflow solutions that drive business value. Your expertise in ServiceNow development, scripting, and platform best practices will contribute significantly to successful project outcomes and operational excellence.
At the senior level, you are expected to work independently while providing technical leadership and guidance to other team members. Your responsibilities include:
Application Design & Development
- Continue to build out an existing custom scoped application and visualizations using the ServiceNow platform and related technologies.
- Maintain ServiceNow applications, custom components, workflows, and integrations.
- Leverage industry best practices to create scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions.
Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Partner with Business Analysts and stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Recommend solution approaches, alternative designs, and implementation strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development team members.
Platform Development & Customization
- Customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, and other platform technologies.
- Configure platform capabilities, workflows, business rules, and user experiences to meet business requirements.
- Build responsive user interfaces and visualizations utilizing technologies such as AngularJS, React, HTML5, CSS, and related frameworks.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with business and analytics teams to understand priorities and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Communicate technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on emerging technologies, platform capabilities, and best practices.
Delivery & Quality Assurance
- Ensure deliverables are complete, accurate, high-quality, and aligned with stakeholder expectations.
- Participate in solution testing, troubleshooting, and optimization efforts to ensure reliable performance.
- Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing across the team.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current on ServiceNow platform enhancements, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase automation, and enhance user experiences.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of development standards and operational best practices.
What You'll Need:
Basic Requirements
- 5+ years of application development experience on the ServiceNow platform.
- Must be a United States (U.S.) Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green card)
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust with the government
- Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S. and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract, and laws do apply
What you’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Platform capabilities, administration, customization, and scripting.
- Experience developing custom ServiceNow applications, and custom solutions.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with AngularJS, HTML5, CSS/CSS3, XML/JSON, REST services, and modern web development practices.
- Hands-on experience designing, debugging, and supporting enterprise applications.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or other relevant credentials.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Now Assist and other platform AI features, with demonstrated experience supporting or implementing ServiceNow AI-driven solutions in enterprise environments
- Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environments.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
