Provides senior SAP FICO consulting across solution discovery, architecture, configuration, implementation, enhancement, and production support. Configures SAP FI and CO modules, resolves finance and controlling issues, supports month-end and year-end close, and integrates with MM and SD. Gathers requirements, writes functional specifications, conducts testing and training, develops implementation artifacts, and supports knowledge transfer. The role also addresses PMMO capabilities for project-based manufacturing environments.
Senior SAP FICO Consultant - Remote
As a Senior SAP FICO Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 5-10 years of experience with Information Technology.
- This position may require travel to project / client locations.
- In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to “U.S. persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 4-6 years of proven experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant on minimum of two implementation projects
- Having strong configuration, enhancement, and support of SAP FI and CO modules:
- FI: General Ledger, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting
- CO: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, CO-PA, Product Costing
- FI: General Ledger, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting
- Analyze and resolve complex business process and system issues in a production environment.
- Collaborate closely with finance, accounting, and business teams to gather and document requirements.
- Deep functional knowledge of finance and controlling processes in complex SAP landscapes.
- Experience with financial month-end/year-end closing processes and integration with logistics modules (MM, SD).
