Senior SAP Basis Consultant (PR Remote)

Essential Job Functions

• Analyze, design, build, and/or configure activities necessary for the initial build and periodically refresh components for the SAP environments.

• Review the monthly OS Patch regression testing.

• Perform system upgrades, patching, and enhancements.

• Coordinate with involved teams for any testing that will be performed.

• Troubleshoot system issues and provide resolution.

• Create or update CBA documentation.

• Updating of the testing documentation

• Monitor and maintain database performance and monitor, maintain, and enhance middleware technology.

• Create and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications and procedures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new SAP functionality and improve system performance.

• Monitor system performance and provide proactive maintenance as needed.

• Provide guidance and support to junior BASIS team members.

Basic Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of SAP implementation and post-production support experience

• Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations.

• Strong organizational skills.

• SAP S/4 BASIS + Security (roles and authorizations), Notes for security, perform early watch alerts.

• Experience with BASIS activities for SAP MES application is an advantage

• Experienced in both ABAP & JAVA stack.

• Core BASIS operations

• Integration topics (https, RFCs)

• Housekeeping and proactive system health checks.

• Solution manager currently in use for early watch alerts. Experience in SOLMAN is must.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• SAP Basis certification or related SAP certification.

• Experience with HANA administration

• Experience working on an agile team.

Work Environment

• Remote to Puerto Rico only (Resources need to reside in Puerto Rico)

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
