Position Overview:

FastSpring is looking for a Senior Salesforce Admin/Developer to spearhead the development, optimization, and management of our Salesforce platform, a core driver of our global revenue operations and business scalability.

In this role, you will manage and configure Salesforce while designing and implementing custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and integrations. A key part of your work will include reviewing legacy code and systems to identify opportunities for simplification, refactoring, and modernization. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in stabilizing and advancing our Salesforce environment to support FastSpring’s ongoing growth.

As the go-to CRM expert, you'll partner cross-functionally to translate business needs into scalable solutions—solving complex system challenges and driving platform performance. This role is key to fostering a data-driven, inclusive culture while enabling operational excellence across the organization.

Key Projects & Goals:

  • Lead transformational modernization of a 16-year-old Salesforce instance by simplifying overly complex customizations and restoring best-practice, out-of-the-box functionality to support scalable growth.
  • Lead Salesforce modernization infrastructure project to shift operations focus from system maintenance to business enablement, increasing capacity across Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, and Customer Ops.
  • Overhaul Salesforce instance to simplify processes, increase sales time, enhance security, and reduce costs through system consolidation and vendor deprecation.
  • Improve sales efficiency by optimizing lead enrichment, modernizing the custom quote process, and upgrading contract capture and pricing enforcement.
  • Fix outdated automations affecting lead routing, account management, and customer interactions in Service Cloud.
  • Eliminate 50+ redundant integrations to streamline workflows and improve data integrity.
  • Improve MQL response time reporting, revenue capture metrics, and sales payroll calculations to enhance performance tracking.
  • Collaborate across CS, Marketing, Finance, People, Product, and IT to drive scalable, revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Deliver clear concise technical and business documentation to upgrade longterm Salesforce platform support quality and durability.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional Salesforce.com Administration and Developer experience supporting global teams in a highly complex, multi-entity enterprise environment.
  • Proven expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud & Service Cloud.
  • Demonstrated ability to speak to business and technical users, with a genuine passion for solution delivery and enabling the GTM function for international scale.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, automation best practices, and experience managing enterprise data & SMB models.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (Advanced Admin and additional certifications like Platform App Builder or comparable cert strongly preferred).
  • Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to engage non-technical stakeholders and drive alignment on cross-functional requirements.

Technology & Systems Qualifications:

  • Required:  Strong Admin background in Salesforce Sales Cloud & Service Cloud, highly comfortable with Apex scripting and expertise in automations (Flows, Process Builder, Workflow rules)
  • Required:  Development & Automation expertise: Hands-on experience building complex automations via Flows (including Screen, Record, and Platform Event-Triggered), Process Builder, and Apex classes/triggers, plus familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and Python scripting.
  • AppExchange & Custom Development: Experience configuring AppExchange apps, developing Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and leveraging SOQL/SOSL for scalable custom solutions.
  • Security, Access, and Reporting Leadership: Skilled in managing user provisioning and permissions, maintaining security health checks, and developing complex reports and dashboards to deliver actionable analytics.
  • Experience writing and maintaining ETL tools & writing custom data-processing scripts to transform and map production database to Salesforce through bi-directional syncs (Snowflake, Omnata, PYTHON)

Benefits, Perks, Health & Wellness

Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package designed to support financial stability, well-being and personal growth:
