We value in-person teamwork and believe the best ideas happen together. Our team is expected to be in the office five days a week in Palo Alto, CA unless explicitly noted otherwise in the job description.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Sales Executive to focus on new business acquisitions with major healthcare providers and leading hospital networks. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record of selling complex software solutions to these organizations. You will be pivotal in expanding Hippocratic AI’s footprint by building relationships with key stakeholders, managing complex sales cycles, and closing high-value deals.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience selling software solutions to healthcare providers, excels in navigating the intricacies of these organizations, and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and close deals with major healthcare providers and integrated hospital systems, focusing on software solutions that address their most pressing challenges.

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets, leveraging your deep understanding of provider organizations and decision-making processes.

  • Build relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders within hospital networks to understand their needs and position Hippocratic AI as the optimal solution.

  • Navigate long sales cycles with multiple decision-makers, ensuring timely and effective follow-up at every stage.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and the evolving needs of healthcare organizations to position Hippocratic AI effectively.

  • Partner with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to align strategies and deliver seamless client experiences.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of value-based care models and how they impact provider decision-making and technology adoption.

  • Travel extensively to meet with prospective clients and attend industry events, building in-person relationships that drive sales success.

Qualifications

Must Haves:

  • A bachelor’s degree plus an MBA or advanced degree is required.

  • 10+ years of proven success in enterprise sales, with a strong focus on selling software solutions to healthcare providers and integrated delivery networks (IDNs).

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets, closing high-value, complex deals.

  • Deep understanding of hospital network operations and decision-making, with an established network of key contacts in the provider space.

  • Comprehensive understanding of value-based care models and their influence on technology adoption within healthcare organizations.

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.

  • Familiarity with EHR systems or digital health platforms.

  • Public speaking or presentation expertise, with the ability to command a room and articulate complex solutions effectively.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment.

  • Experience selling AI-powered solutions or other cutting-edge healthcare technology.
