As a Senior Sales Engineer, you’ll be the trusted technical partner to our Sales, Product, and Client Experience teams. You’ll guide prospects through discovery, design solutions that solve real business problems, and deliver compelling solutions that highlight the impact of Lytx technology. Acting as both strategist and hands-on expert, you’ll ensure that every client engagement connects to measurable outcomes and showcases our competitive edge.
This role is ideal for a consultative, creative, problem-solving, solutions-driven engineer who thrives at the intersection of technology and business value.
You’ll Get To:
- Partner with Sales throughout the full sales cycle, building strategies and account plans that drive growth.
- Engage with clients to uncover business and technical challenges, then map those to tailored solutions.
- Deliver impactful demos and presentations that highlight Lytx’s differentiation and ROI.
- Shape the value story—clearly connect client needs to our solutions, emphasizing business outcomes and competitive advantage.
- Act as a product expert, fluent in features, integrations, and roadmaps, while bridging client feedback to Product teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless solution delivery and client success.
- Expand opportunities by identifying additional value within accounts.
- Represent Lytx as a subject matter expert at industry events and trade shows.
- Competitive compensation: On-target earnings of $165,000–$210,000 (base + commission), commensurate with experience.
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years’ experience in Sales Engineering or a related role in a solution-sales environment.
- Strong technical acumen with both hardware and software systems; fleet telematics industry experience highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of complex sales cycles and value-based selling methodologies (e.g., strategic value selling).
- Exceptional discovery, storytelling, and presentation skills—able to simplify complex topics for executive audiences.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with proficiency in Excel or data visualization tools.
- Ability to travel up to 20% to meet with clients.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus.

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is:
