Job Description:

The Senior Release Manager is a strategic partner within the technology organization, reporting to SVP of Global Engineering. This role works closely with engineering, product and enterprise project management teams to plan, coordinate and govern enterprise-wide technology releases.

In this role, you will provide operational leadership to define organizational release strategies, manage release pipelines and ensure adherence to governance standards. You will oversee release planning, risk management and stakeholder communication to ensure high-quality delivery of technology initiatives.

This position is critical for fostering collaboration across teams by aligning release activities with business priorities, providing transparency into release progress and enabling successful execution of technology initiatives during periods of transformation and change.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and sustain enterprise-wide release strategy, processes, and governance in collaboration with engineering, product, and enterprise project management teams.

  • Plan, coordinate and execute releases across multiple teams and platforms, ensuring quality, timeliness and alignment with business objectives.

  • Establish release calendars, roadmaps and communication channels to provide visibility into upcoming releases, risks and dependencies.

  • Implement release management procedures, like process automation, documentation, and adherence to governance and compliance standards.

  • Provide reporting, metrics and stakeholder communication to ensure transparency and alignment across the organization.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Experience working in global, large-scale, or complex technology environments preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with release management or project management tool

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in release management, software delivery, or technology operations.

  • Experience defining and managing cross-organizational release strategies and governance frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies..

  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex releases across diverse systems.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility.

Physical Requirements:

This role is primarily performed in an office or home office setting and involves standard computer-based work.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $121,400 - $168,700 USD. Actual compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Additional benefits and bonuses may apply.
