A Day in the Life

We are currently recruiting for two positions that will be remote in the United States.

About Medtronic Financial Services: Medtronic Financial Services supports the financing needs of our end-user customers, providing solutions for hospitals and healthcare facilities investing in high-value equipment like the O-arm and Hugo surgical systems. Our team collaborates with external partners for underwriting and sales coordination.

Position Overview: The Senior Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the financial services strategy across various regions/countries. This role requires a project management mindset to effectively collaborate with internal and external teams, ensuring seamless execution of financing solutions and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects aimed at gross margin improvement and operational excellence. Manage the deployment of training modules across different organizational units and regions.

  • Strategic Financing: Develop and implement financing strategies for Medtronic's capital equipment sales, working closely with external partners.

  • Operating Agenda: Coordinate with diverse stakeholders to manage and execute the operating agenda, ensuring accountability and alignment with business goals.

  • Miscellaneous Projects: Drive initiatives related to separate P&L management and KPI tracking, supporting strategic decision-making for financial services.

  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with a small, dedicated team including leadership and experts in capital equipment financing. Provide guidance and support to ensure team success.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years of experience in sales management, preferably within financial services or capital equipment financing (Or 5+ years with an advance degree).

Nice to Have:

  • Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on strategic outcomes.

  • Experience in managing digital platforms and resources is a plus.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$142,400.00 - $213,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

 

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

 

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
