Dataminr seeks a Sr. Regional Marketing Manager to develop and execute a local marketing plan, focusing on pipeline growth, impact, and brand awareness. This cross-functional role will establish an event strategy aligned with regional GTM business priorities and marketing program focus. They will have experience building successful event strategies that drive awareness, demand generation, customer and partner engagement. Strong event management, project management, and effective communication are essential, along with a passion for creating exceptional, engaging experiences for tech professionals, customers, employees and stakeholders.

The opportunity
  • Planning, coordination, and execution of local industry conferences & regional user groups, and supporting demand generation activities at Tier 1 corporate events.

  • Demonstrate ability to build and execute a regional marketing plan that is aligned to the overall business GTM goals.

  • Responsible for working cross functionally with campaign owners to ensure proper messaging is leveraged throughout all activities and communications. 

  • Demonstrate an analytical, data-driven and creative approach to the development across all brand awareness and pipeline driven activities and analyze event performance metrics and provide reports on event success. 

  • Partner and work closely with the regional sales and partner teams to support market expansion and goals. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event promotion strategies, including email campaigns, social media and lead follow up engagements post event.

  • Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure smooth planning and execution.

  • 5+ years of experience in a regional growth marketing role and a BS/MS degree in marketing or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience planning and executing events such as local user groups, tradeshows, forums, speaking engagements and executive experiences. 

  • Ability to work across different time zones and collaborate with global teams.

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.

  • Ability to handle event budgets, sponsorships, and cost optimization strategies.

  • Demonstrable experience developing event strategies that align to the business objectives with measurement goals and metrics.

The annual base salary range for this position is $105,600 - $154,000. Actual salary will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, applicant skills, and prior relevant experience.
