At DataVisor, we’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer who is passionate about quality and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in software testing, with experience in automation frameworks, test planning, and execution. We value individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to challenge themselves to deliver high-quality, reliable products. Experience in early-stage tech startups is a plus.
What you'll do in general:
- Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new systems
or modifications of an existing system. - Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a
contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results
in a related part. - Program software to predefined specifications for internet applications.
- Write, modify, integrate, and test software code for internet applications.
- Develop, implement, modify, and maintain features that integrate effectively
into existing software. - Write documentation for new and updated software.
Responsibility:
1. According to product design or requirements, conduct requirement analysis, design, implement and execute test cases
2. Help to improve the product user experience
3. Work with the product manager, development engineers, and project manager to solve the problem on time
4. Maintain and optimize the existing automation framework
5. Assist in building the interface of the automation framework
6. Design, implement, and maintain automated UI and API test code
Requirements
1. Computer Science or related major, bachelor's degree is required
2. 5+ years of Java experience
3. 3+ years as an automation test engineer and experience in IT, big data, or finance area
4. Solid knowledge of quality management
5. Experienced in UI automation and API automation and framework
6. Excellent in communication, analysis
Benefits
- Compensation: Annual salary range of CAD $100,000 – $150,000, commensurate with experience.
- Full benefits include PTO, Insurance and retirement plan.
