Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings has an opening for a Senior QA Analyst. This is a remote position; can work anywhere in the U.S.

Job Description:

  • Ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications, systems, and platforms used across the organization.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.

  • Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements, specifications, and user stories.

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on various software applications and platforms.

  • Lead and mentor junior QA team members, providing guidance and feedback on best practices for testing and quality assurance.

  • Identify, report, and track defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Automate repetitive test cases to increase efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products.

  • Analyze business and technical requirements to ensure test coverage and provide insights to enhance the testing process.

  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Continuously improve testing strategies and methodologies based on the latest industry trends and best practices.

  • Ensure that the testing process adheres to Labcorp's compliance and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and other healthcare-related regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive experience as a Senior QA Analyst, Lead QA Analyst role or related role.

  • Must possess at least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.

  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) with experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, TestNG, etc.).

  • Must possess at least 3 years of experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

  • Must possess at least 2 years of experience in testing web applications, APIs, and databases.

  • Must possess at least 2 years of experience in scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, etc.) for test automation.

Approximately 40 hours per week; salary is $114,878 per year.
